Kathleen O’Donnell
From an early age, Kathy was exceptionally sensitive to energies around her, often seeing orbs, lights, and beings, believing that this was all a very natural part of life. Ultimately, these childhood experiences led to a focused study of the paranormal, and energy healing. I have always been drawn to help people (with and without bodies) and animals. In order to hone her awareness more finely to the subtle energies she senses, Kathy was certified as a Reiki Master/Teacher and also received ordination as an Interfaith Minister to assist in her mission, and sought the guidance of leaders in the Paranormal Investigation field. Kathy studied and received college level certification with one such teacher and author, Troy Taylor. Taylor has written extensively on the subject and Kathy credits him with providing a scientific balance to her work. Kathy is also certified as a Hypnotist, EFT(emotional freedom technique) practitioner, Silva Method graduate, Aura/Chakra Photographer, and a Dowser.
Karen Darby
Healing, spiritual guidance and spirit communication are the gifts that Karen brings to Katonah Paranormal. Karen has helped many clients understand and learn from their paranormal experiences by using the skills and knowledge gathered from her studies as a Reiki Master, Interfaith Minister, and Numerologist. She is also a Registered Nurse, and holds a Master of Divinity degree.
Karen’s focus is on healing of the body, mind and spirit. Her goal is to assist in restoring harmony to the lives of homeowners disrupted by paranormal events while bringing peace and light to the spirits causing such events.
"The paranormal is not about fear," says Karen. "It’s about the empowerment of knowledge and perception. We all have the gift of intuition. That gift is given to us that we might gain a better understanding of the world around us and within us."
Barry Pirro
Spirits have voices -- and Barry records them. Barry is Katonah Paranormal's EVP expert. Using highly sensitive digital recording equipment, Barry has captured and cataloged many spirit voices while on investigations. Voices that are not audible at the time they are recorded can often be clearly heard when played back. The newest digital recorders are very sensitive to spirit communication. It's amazing to hear what comes through on some investigations.
In addition to EVP, Barry uses digital photography to capture visual anomalies indicative of spirit activity. All recordings and photos are cataloged and shared with clients to help them better understand the paranormal occurrences they may be experiencing.
